Weekends

Most likely, you’ll get paid on Fridays at 5pm EST (the time zone you work in). There may be some exceptions where your paychecks arrive earlier than this.

Bank Holidays

You should expect to receive your paycheck after normal business hours during holidays, if they fall on a weekend. Otherwise, you should plan to have access to funds on normal working days only.

Late Payday

The last day to request payment is the fifth Friday following the payday date. If you don’t get paid before this date, contact customer service immediately.

Payroll Dates for Holidays

Payroll dates vary from company to company, but most companies give notice around three weeks ahead of the holiday. So, if you’re planning to take a vacation around Thanksgiving, you’ll want to make sure you have enough money set aside before then.

Time Off

If you’re taking time off, it’s best to keep track of how much time you’ve taken off so you can use that information to calculate your final pay. You might find it helpful to put a note on your calendar reminding yourself how many days you’ve been away.

Overtime

Overtime pay varies greatly depending on the department you work in. However, generally speaking, the first hour you work each week counts as regular time, and any additional hours beyond 40 count as overtime.

Earnings: $100,000+

Pivot Points: 6 (average), 9 (high), 12 (high)

You need to start working for yourself if you want to earn a six-figure income. We have a friend who makes over $10,000 a month without having any prior experience. It takes drive, passion, and hard work. In my opinion, she’s one of the best financial coaches out there.

Income Objectives: $50,000-$200,000

We’ve been making a lot of mistakes lately, and we want to change that, so we’re focusing our efforts on getting to $200k in annual income. We enjoy what we do, and our customers adore us!

Savings target: $80,000

We are currently saving around $800 per month because of our low overhead and no employees. We’re able to keep our overhead low and pass those savings onto our clients.

Asset Building: Real Estate Investing & Passive Income

I am currently investing in rental houses. While they are an excellent way to build assets, finding good deals like this is not always easy. That’s where I came across Property Ledger, where I find preforeclosure houses in my area down to a certain price point, then check them out personally to make sure they really are being sold directly from the bank to the investor.

It’s a win-win situation.

Navient Hours: When should I expect to get paid?

You should have no trouble getting paid on time.In fact, you should receive payment at least twice each month. You may sometimes get paid later than expected after the end of the month, but you should never wait longer than 30 days before asking for money. If you need money sooner than the 15th of the following month, ask immediately. However, if you don’t receive payment on time, contact us via our website. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

How do I know whether my loan payments are being applied correctly?

Payments are automatically deducted from your bank account, so you won’t miss them. Once your payment is processed, we send you a statement detailing how much was applied toward what type of loan. This includes principal, interest, late fees, and property insurance. You can view the final amount owed on your bill online or download a copy of your monthly statement.

Navient Hours: What Happens if I Miss a Payment?

If you fail to make your payment on time, we will consider the missed payment as delinquent. A missed payment could result in additional collections charges, late fees, a higher interest rate, or even foreclosure. Your credit score will suffer. Even worse, you could be denied future financing. Additionally, if you miss several consecutive payments, we can terminate your loan. Contact us to schedule a meeting about your financial situation.

Navient Hours: Can I pay off my home mortgage early?

Yes! Many homeowners choose to refinance their mortgages to take advantage of lower rates. If you find yourself wanting to close on your house before the end of the year, speak with your lender about refinancing. In addition to saving you money, refinancing can help to improve your credit score. Refinanced loans appear on your credit report as having been paid in full.

Navient Hours: Do I have to pay taxes on my mortgage balance?

No, you do not have to pay income taxes on your mortgage balance. Tax laws vary depending on where you live, so check with your local tax office for specific information.
