I just wanted to share my experience with Refinancing student loans. I was able to get a lower rate on my federal financial aid loan thanks to College Coach’s help. I hope this helps someone else out!

A quick guide showing you how to refinance student loans.

All school loans should start off at 0% and then can be refinanced once the loan term is over. Here is how to do it. When you sign up for Navient (Federal FinAid) you will have to choose a loan provider. If you want to know more about the different types of financings look them up online and see if it fits your situation.

How do I get started?

You will then select the state where you live and enter your information. Once you have done this you will be given a list of options including fixed rate refinancing, variable rate refinancing, deferred interest rates, and payment plan option. Select what plan best suits you and make your payments accordingly.

What if I am already enrolled in a loan payment program?

If you don’t have a personal account you will need to setup one and once you have been approved for financing then you will be able to transfer your funds online.
