Apply Directly to Financial Aid Offices

You can apply directly to your school’s financial aid office to ask for help paying for education. Most colleges and universities have their own financial aid website where you can find out how much funding they offer.

Use the Internet

Use the internet to look for scholarships that fit your criteria. If you are looking for money for college then look at scholarship sites like Scholarship America and USASponsors.

Look At State Grants

Some states offer grants to pay for tuition based on your income level. When searching online for state grant programs check the links to the actual program websites.

Work While In School

If you work while attending school you may be able to deduct some of your expenses from your taxes. Talk to your employer about what types of jobs qualify for tax deductions. Also remember to submit any receipts or documentation to prove your expenses.

Check Out Private Scholarships
